Project Description: Commercial interior project of the second location of the Argentinian bakery Maria Empanada.  Gebhart Studio had the pleasure of collaborating with Cadence Design Studio (www.cadence-studio.com) & 641West Design (www.641west.com) on this exciting project. Within the space is a complex curving wood slat construction to give the space warmth and interest and flexible seating inside and out.  The wood slat form pulls apart at the front of the space, under an existing skylight, to allow for daylight above.
